Connections and Commitments Framework
"Connections and Commitments: A Latino-based Framework for Early Childhood Educators" is organized around four values in Latino culture: familia (family), pertenencia (belonging), educación (education), and compromiso (commitment). The framework discusses the implications of these values on early childhood practice, and is intended to generate conversations among practitioners, trainers, and support systems about culturally and linguistically responsive practices for working with Latino families.
